Options for dining out in Brunei range from informal hawker centres and casual eateries to more elegant restaurants and haute cuisine. Hawker centres offer fine local delicacies at very reasonable prices and are a good place to sample some of Brunei’s local specialities. They can be found in downtown areas of all four districts, and in a complex next to Jerudong Park. In addition, food courts are located in many of the nation’s shopping complexes and offer a similar array of local foods, as well as Asian and international cuisine.
